Abdulhakeem came to prominence when he won 1st prize at the Gombe Star-Up Event. His pitch on Chiniki.com, with its use of Artificial Intelligence in real-time translation of text into Hausa, comparative shopping and image recognition for shop assistance impressed the judges greatly, which included no less than the DG of NITDA, who officiated the occasion.

Abdulhakeem is passionate about injecting IT capabilities into daily life, building "living systems" that improve people's performance and community development. His systems bring people together by building universal platforms for service delivery regardless of ethnic background, language, etc. and as Chiniki's slogan says, "uniting poeple through shopping".

Yusuf is a familiar face at formal and celebratory functions, being the go-to master-of-ceremony. He is also a social activist, also seeking to elevate the profile of the under-served in his community. He is a passionate marketing and sales trainer as well as a toastmaster, being a founder of the Katsina City Toastmasters Chapter. Yusuf believes that small ideas can change the world, and it needs the power of speech to deliver them into reality. Towards this end, he has involved himself in developing the capabilities of youth so that more of them will be heard and put their ideas into action.
